Alyssa Franzen, DPT, OCS

Alyssa received her Bachelors of Science in Biology from Providence College in 2005 and a Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the MGH Institute of Health Professions in 2011.  Prior to pursuing a career in physical therapy, she conducted research on upper motor neuron diseases, such as Lou Gehrig’s disease, at Massachusetts General Hospital.  Alyssa was a varsity athlete in high school and college where she saw firsthand how physical therapists help people prevent and recover from injuries. Alyssa is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association. Alyssa enjoys helping patients with a variety of orthopaedic conditions meet their goals and return to their activities. Alyssa has obtained her Orthopaedic Board Specialty. She enjoys working with a wide range of patients, but is most interested in pelvic health and orthopaedics.
